A Guide to Event Preperation

Have you read the important information? Screenshot 2025-09-08 at 14.13.07.png

We include vital information in your TFG booking confirmation emails. Please make sure you read them in full every time you make a purchase, as action may be required.

Because we work with a wide range of event organizers across many different genres, the way you receive your tickets may vary. Our event listings and your booking confirmations will include information specific to each event.

You can find additional general written information here.

Don't get your dates mixed up!  Screenshot 2025-09-08 at 14.13.26.png

As simple as it sounds, we’ve all been there—check the date and time before booking to make sure there are no conflicts. Once booked, double-check the date and time in your email confirmation and add it to your calendar right away. Due to the nature of donated tickets, all sales are final (no refunds or exchanges), and we’d hate to disappoint you.

Have you checked where the venue is and the best transportation routes? We include a map on all our event listings, as well as a link to Google Maps in our email confirmations. It’s best to plan your journey ahead of time and check for any transportation disruptions to avoid last-minute stress or disappointment.

Driving? We do not offer parking reservations through the TFG website. Parking must be arranged directly with the event organizers. Where possible, we include this information on our listings and provide links to the organizer’s website on our event pages and in confirmation emails. Please take a moment to review parking options and locations in advance.

Event policies & guides Screenshot 2025-09-08 at 14.14.11.png

It’s always a good idea to check the organizer’s website for their policies on items such as bag restrictions or dress codes. While we try to highlight any non-standard policies on our listings, we ask that you pay close attention to event-specific information so you’re fully prepared on the day.

For larger events, such as festivals, we strongly recommend reviewing the FAQ pages on the organizer’s site. These usually include detailed information on topics like what to bring, prohibited items, and camping details.

We always include a link to the organizer’s website on our event listings and in confirmation emails for easy access to relevant information.

Always allow plenty of time to get to your event. Plan for road works, delays, and security or bag checks. Arriving with time to spare will make for a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience—no breaking a sweat on arrival!
